Position Information
Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Location: Outram Park MRT, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable Based on Business Needs and Individual Performance)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours (Rotating Shift): • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Salary: Up to SGD 14 per hour
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy. Your primary responsibility is to ensure medications are prepared, packed, labelled, and organized accurately while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to provide quality service and ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly.
This role requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates without previous pharmacy or healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Picking medications according to pharmacy orders.
• Packing medications accurately before they are issued or delivered.
• Labelling medications according to pharmacy guidelines and established procedures.
• Preparing medication orders for collection or internal distribution.
• Supporting pharmacists with routine pharmacy operations.
• Ensuring medications are handled carefully to maintain quality and safety.
• Organizing medications and pharmaceutical products in their designated storage areas.
• Replenishing stock whenever inventory levels become low.
• Assisting in inventory checks and stock counting activities.
• Reporting damaged, expired, or missing medications to supervisors.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the pharmacy.
• Ensuring workstations remain neat and hygienic throughout each shift.
• Assisting with crowd control and directing customers when necessary.
• Carrying medication boxes or supplies weighing up to 5 kilograms.
• Following all workplace safety regulations and healthcare protocols.
• Performing additional operational duties assigned by supervisors or pharmacists.
