Position Available

Cleaning Supervisor

The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for leading the cleaning team, coordinating daily operations, maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring workplace safety, and supporting the company’s operational objectives. This position requires someone who can effectively supervise employees while also participating in operational activities whenever necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of supervisory and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• Lead and supervise a team of professional cleaners.
• Plan, organize, and assign daily cleaning schedules.
• Ensure all cleaning assignments are completed on time.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and daily performance.
• Provide guidance and instruction to team members.
• Assist cleaners with operational duties whenever required.
• Conduct regular inspections of completed cleaning work.
• Ensure production areas remain clean, hygienic, and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, common areas, corridors, staircases, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned locations.
• Ensure cleaning quality consistently meets company standards.
• Operate industrial cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper usage of cleaning machines, equipment, and tools.
• Monitor the condition of cleaning equipment and report maintenance requirements.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and used according to safety procedures.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and workplace expectations.
• Maintain inventory records for cleaning materials and equipment.
• Coordinate manpower allocation based on operational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding daily operations.
• Prepare operational reports whenever required.
• Identify workplace hazards and report safety concerns immediately.
• Ensure all employees comply with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional conduct among staff.
• Resolve minor operational issues before escalating them to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cleaning efficiency.
• Perform additional supervisory duties assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Able to start work immediately.
• Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar supervisory role is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in the cleaning industry.
• Experience operating industrial cleaning machinery.
• Good understanding of various cleaning equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Able to travel to Tuas for work daily.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, reliable, disciplined, and well organized.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work effectively under pressure.
• Positive working attitude and willingness to lead by example.
• Physically fit and capable of supporting operational activities when required.
• Committed to maintaining excellent workplace hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Willing to comply with all company regulations and operational procedures.
