Salary Package
– Monthly Salary: Up to $2,600
– Salary Range: $2,200 – $2,800, depending on qualifications, experience, and overall suitability

About the Role
The Clinic Receptionist is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic by providing excellent front desk services, supporting administrative functions, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients from all walks of life.
You will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointments, processing payments, assisting with medication dispensing, coordinating with doctors and nurses, and maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality at all times.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and enjoys working in a patient-focused environment where professionalism, compassion, and efficiency are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
– Welcome patients and visitors warmly while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
– Register new and returning patients accurately using the clinic management system.
– Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
– Answer incoming phone calls and respond to enquiries professionally.
– Provide accurate information regarding clinic services, consultation procedures, operating hours, and appointment availability.
– Handle front desk enquiries from patients, family members, and visitors.
– Verify patient information and ensure all medical records are updated accurately.
– Assist patients with registration forms and administrative documentation.
– Process various payment methods, including cash, NETS, credit/debit cards, and other electronic payment options where applicable.
– Prepare receipts and maintain accurate daily financial records.
– Process medical insurance claims according to company and insurer requirements.
– Liaise with insurance providers when necessary to facilitate claims processing.
– Assist with medication dispensing according to clinic protocols and under the guidance of qualified medical professionals.
– Ensure medications are prepared accurately before handing them over to patients.
– Maintain sufficient stock of administrative and clinic supplies, reporting shortages when necessary.
– Coordinate patient flow to minimize waiting time and improve overall patient experience.
– Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient clinic operations.
– Handle confidential patient information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
– Maintain accurate filing systems for both electronic and physical records.
– Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
– Prepare daily administrative reports when required.
– Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
– Ensure compliance with clinic policies, operational procedures, and healthcare regulations.
– Support additional administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Manager or management team.
– Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Candidate Requirements

Essential Requirements
– Proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking elderly patients.

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:
– Previous experience working in a General Practitioner (GP) clinic.
– Experience as a Medical Receptionist, Clinic Receptionist, Healthcare Administrator, or Front Desk Executive.
– Familiarity with clinic management software.
– Experience handling insurance claims and medical billing.
– Knowledge of medication dispensing procedures.
– Experience providing customer service in a healthcare or medical setting.
