Position Details

 

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Working Hours: Morning Shift or Afternoon Shift (Shift assignment will be based on operational requirements.)

Key Responsibilities

 

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting the daily warehouse operations while ensuring that inventory is handled accurately, efficiently, and safely. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Inventory Management

 

– Perform routine stock checks to verify inventory quantities and ensure that records accurately reflect physical stock.

– Maintain accurate inventory records by updating warehouse management systems and documentation.

– Investigate inventory discrepancies and report any inconsistencies to supervisors.

– Assist in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.

 

Receiving and Inspection

 

– Receive incoming deliveries from suppliers and verify that shipments match purchase orders and delivery documents.

– Inspect incoming materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts for quantity, quality, and physical condition.

– Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items according to company procedures.

– Label and organize newly received inventory before storage.

 

Issuing and Distribution

 

– Issue tools, equipment, materials, and plant components to internal departments according to authorized requests.

– Ensure all issued items are properly recorded within the inventory management system.

– Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely availability of required materials.

 

Storage and Warehouse Organization

 

– Store inventory in designated warehouse locations following company storage procedures.

– Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.

– Organize warehouse racks, shelves, and storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility.

– Monitor storage conditions to maintain the quality and integrity of inventory.

 

Housekeeping and Safety

 

– Maintain excellent housekeeping standards by following the company’s 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).

– Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

– Follow all workplace safety regulations, operating procedures, and company policies.

– Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever required.

– Immediately report any unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or workplace incidents.

 

Material Handling

 

– Safely lift, carry, move, and arrange warehouse items weighing approximately 10 kg to 15 kg.

– Operate material handling equipment if authorized and trained.

– Ensure proper lifting techniques are used to minimize the risk of workplace injuries.

 

Team Collaboration

 

– Work closely with supervisors, warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

– Assist team members during busy operational periods when necessary.

– Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities and qualifications:

 

– Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

– Physically fit and capable of handling materials weighing between 10 kg and 15 kg.

– Responsible, reliable, and punctual.

– Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.

– Able to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.

– Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

– Willing to work morning or afternoon shifts based on operational requirements.

– Positive working attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

– Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or inventory experience is an advantage but is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
