FASTHIRE – DAILY PAY WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME / FREELANCE)
FASTHIRE is currently expanding our warehouse operations and is looking for dedicated, reliable, and physically fit individuals to join our team as Warehouse Assistants. Warehouse Assistant (Freelance – Contract for Services)

Salary
Hourly Rate:
– $12 per hour for eligible shifts from Monday to Saturday.
– $15 per hour for eligible Sunday shifts, provided at least one weekday shift has also been completed during the qualifying period.
Payment Method:
– Daily salary payout via bank transfer.
– Payment will be credited on the next working day after your completed shift.
– No monthly payroll waiting period.

Alps Avenue (Near Changi Cargo), Singapore
Transport is provided from selected pick-up points in the East and North-East regions, making commuting easier for eligible workers.

Nature of Employment
This position is offered under a Contract for Services arrangement. As a freelancer, you will be assigned available shifts based on operational requirements and your availability. This arrangement provides flexibility while allowing you to earn income on a regular basis without committing to a full-time employment schedule.

Job Responsibilities
Warehouse Assistants play an important role in ensuring parcels and cargo are processed efficiently and accurately. Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
– Loading parcels and cargo onto trucks and delivery vehicles.
– Unloading shipments arriving at the warehouse.
– Sorting parcels according to designated routes or destinations.
– Scanning packages using handheld warehouse scanning devices.
– Verifying parcel labels and shipment information.
– Moving goods safely within the warehouse.
– Organising parcels into designated storage areas.
– Supporting warehouse supervisors with operational tasks.
– Assisting in maintaining workflow efficiency during peak operational hours.
– Ensuring cargo is handled carefully to minimize damage.
– Following all warehouse operating procedures.
– Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
– Reporting damaged parcels or operational issues to supervisors.
– Following workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
– Working closely with team members to complete daily operational targets within the scheduled shift.
Responsibilities may vary slightly depending on daily operational requirements.

Working Schedule
Flexible shifts are available throughout the week.
Current requested time slots include:
Monday
4:15 AM – 6:15 AM
Tuesday to Thursday
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Friday
6:15 AM – 8:15 AM
Saturday
6:30 AM – 8:30 AM
Sunday
6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Please note that shift start and finish times may vary by approximately 5 to 30 minutes depending on daily warehouse operations and cargo arrival schedules.
Workers may choose shifts based on availability, subject to operational requirements.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants should possess the following qualities:
– Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties.
– Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and moving parcels throughout the shift.
– Responsible and reliable.
– Punctual with good attendance.
– Able to follow instructions carefully.
– Able to work independently as well as within a team.
– Positive working attitude.
– Willing to comply with workplace safety procedures.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.
Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.

For workplace safety, all workers must report to work wearing:

Workers who do not meet the required attire may not be allowed to commence their assigned shift.
