As a Guest Operations Crew, you will be one of the first points of contact for visitors, playing a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience throughout their visit. You will work alongside a professional operations team to ensure daily activities run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and operational excellence.

Position Details

Position: Guest Operations Crew
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Promenade MRT, Singapore
Salary: $12 per hour

Working Hours

This position operates on a rotating shift schedule based on operational requirements.

Morning Shift:
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Afternoon Shift:
12:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Applicants should be prepared to work rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and peak tourist seasons whenever required.

About the Role

The Guest Operations Crew is responsible for ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they arrive until the completion of their visit. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm while working in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in managing visitor flow, maintaining safe operations, supporting VIP experiences, and ensuring that all guests enjoy a smooth, safe, and memorable visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors warmly and provide a professional first impression of the attraction.

• Assist local and international guests by providing accurate information regarding facilities, attractions, schedules, and visitor services.

• Conduct ticket verification and admission checks at designated entry points while ensuring efficient guest flow.

• Monitor entrance areas to ensure only authorized guests enter restricted locations.

• Manage crowd movement during normal operations, weekends, school holidays, public holidays, and special events.

• Coordinate boarding procedures for VIP guests, corporate groups, and private dining experiences while ensuring premium service standards are maintained.

• Ensure all boarding and disembarkation procedures are carried out safely and efficiently.

• Monitor queue lines and implement crowd management measures to maintain a comfortable and organized environment.

• Observe all operational and safety procedures and immediately report any incidents, hazards, or unusual activities to supervisors.

• Maintain security awareness around restricted access areas and ensure company policies are followed at all times.

• Respond professionally to guest enquiries, feedback, and requests while providing appropriate solutions whenever possible.

• Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Support special events, promotional activities, and operational initiatives whenever required.

• Perform routine operational duties to maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall guest satisfaction.

• Deliver consistently high standards of customer service that reflect the reputation of one of Singapore’s leading attractions.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for customer service.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented personality.

• Excellent communication skills in English. The ability to speak additional languages is an added advantage.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Able to remain calm, patient, and professional under pressure.

• Physically fit and comfortable standing or walking for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when operationally required.

• Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

• Responsible, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism.

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, retail, events, or attraction operations will be an advantage. However, candidates without prior experience are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.
