BANK OFFICER (6-MONTH CONTRACT)
Location: Tampines / Raffles Place, Singapore
Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)
Work Schedule: 5-Day Work Week
Salary: $2,200 – $2,600 per month
We are currently seeking motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented individuals to join our client as a Bank Officer. As a Bank Officer, you will be part of the Operations team and will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of daily banking transactions. You will work closely with various internal departments and external stakeholders to support operational activities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and banking regulations.

Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process daily banking transactions accurately and promptly using the company’s in-house operating system.
- Perform high-volume data entry while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with operational procedures.
- Review transaction details carefully before submission to minimize processing errors.
- Support Trade Operations by processing financial transactions and maintaining complete documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding transaction processing, operational matters, and workflow coordination.
- Communicate with external customers and business partners to clarify instructions and resolve operational enquiries.
- Verify customer information and supporting documents before processing transactions.
- Ensure all assigned work is completed within the required service level agreements (SLA) and operational timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and update operational databases whenever necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
- Perform reconciliation of reports and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Organize, maintain, and file operational documents in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the operations and management teams.
- Assist in monitoring outstanding transactions and follow up with relevant parties when required.
- Support internal audits by preparing required documentation and operational records.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication.
- Assist supervisors with special assignments, operational projects, and system-related tasks whenever required.
- Perform any other administrative or operational duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum A-Level, Diploma, or higher qualification.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry and document verification.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive banking information.
- Positive working attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
- Good follow-up skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Banking, finance, administration, customer service, or operations experience will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
