WE ARE HIRING – KITCHEN HELPER
Location: Great World, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Schedule: 6-Day Work Week (Working hours will be communicated during the interview)
Salary: $3,000 – $3,800 per month (Depending on experience, skills, and assigned role)
About the Role
We are looking for dedicated, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our growing kitchen team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the kitchen by ensuring food preparation, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. You will work closely with the chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and provide customers with high-quality food in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Wash, peel, cut, slice, and prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, and other ingredients according to kitchen requirements.
- Prepare ingredients before cooking to ensure efficient food production.
- Purchase fresh, high-quality food ingredients when required by the management.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming food supplies and kitchen inventory.
- Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated using food safety procedures.
- Monitor food storage conditions and maintain appropriate temperatures for chilled and frozen items.
- Keep kitchen workstations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout each shift.
- Wash kitchen equipment, utensils, trays, cutting boards, pots, pans, and cooking tools.
- Clean floors, sinks, refrigerators, freezers, shelves, and food preparation areas regularly.
- Dispose of food waste and garbage according to company hygiene procedures.
- Replenish kitchen supplies and inform supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Support inventory checks and stock organization.
- Follow all food hygiene, workplace safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and food safety policies at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures.
- Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods during working hours.
- Able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong awareness of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Able to follow instructions accurately and maintain high work standards.
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage but is not compulsory.
