New International Hotel Opening in Singapore – Hiring 60 Full-Time Employees

To support this continued growth, a new international hotel in Singapore is preparing for its grand opening and is now recruiting 60 full-time employees across multiple departments. Positions Available

The hotel is currently hiring for the following positions:

Housekeeping Department

Housekeeping staff are responsible for ensuring guest rooms, corridors, and public areas remain clean, organized, and ready for occupancy. This department plays a vital role in maintaining the hotel’s quality standards and guest satisfaction.

Front Office / Reception

Receptionists serve as the first point of contact for hotel guests. Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, handling check-in and check-out procedures, processing payments, answering inquiries, and providing excellent customer service throughout each guest’s stay.

Food & Beverage (F&B) Service

The F&B team is responsible for delivering professional dining service in the hotel’s restaurants, cafés, lounges, and banquet facilities. Staff will ensure guests receive friendly, efficient, and high-quality service while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Bellboy / Concierge

Bellboys assist guests with luggage, escort guests to their rooms, explain hotel facilities, and provide basic concierge assistance. This position requires a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Kitchen Helper

Kitchen Helpers support chefs by preparing ingredients, cleaning kitchen equipment, washing dishes, organizing storage areas, and maintaining proper hygiene standards throughout food preparation areas.

General Helper

General Helpers provide operational support across multiple hotel departments. Duties may include logistics, inventory handling, event preparation, transporting supplies, and assisting other teams during busy periods.

General Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Age between 18 and 55 years old
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn
  • Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Basic communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Hospitality experience is an advantage but not required
  • Training will be provided for selected candidates

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

  • Clean guest rooms according to hotel standards
  • Replace bed linens, towels, and room amenities
  • Clean corridors and public areas
  • Report maintenance issues promptly
  • Ensure rooms are ready before guest arrival

Front Office

  • Welcome guests professionally
  • Process check-in and check-out procedures
  • Handle payments and reservations
  • Answer telephone calls and guest inquiries
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments

Food & Beverage

  • Take customer orders accurately
  • Serve food and beverages professionally
  • Prepare restaurant dining areas
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout service
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures

Bellboy / Concierge

  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Escort guests to rooms
  • Explain hotel facilities and services
  • Coordinate transportation requests when necessary
  • Deliver messages and guest items promptly

Kitchen Helper

  • Prepare ingredients for chefs
  • Wash dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas
  • Store ingredients properly
  • Support kitchen operations during busy service hours

General Helper

  • Support daily hotel operations
  • Handle supplies and inventory
  • Assist during events and conferences
  • Transport equipment between departments
  • Provide operational support whenever required

Salary & Employee Benefits

Successful applicants can expect a competitive salary ranging from SGD 2,200 to SGD 5,200 per month, depending on the position, qualifications, and previous experience.
