About the Position

The Cleaner is an essential member of our operations team and plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and overall environmental safety within assigned facilities. Successful candidates will be deployed to educational institutions and healthcare facilities based on operational requirements and manpower allocation.

This position requires individuals who are reliable, physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining professional cleaning standards. Employees will receive proper orientation, hands-on training, and ongoing support from supervisors and management teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and sanitation duties to ensure that all assigned facilities remain clean, safe, hygienic, and presentable.

Daily Cleaning Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning classrooms, lecture rooms, offices, staff rooms, meeting rooms, and administrative areas

• Performing cleaning duties in hospital wards, patient areas, waiting rooms, consultation rooms, and healthcare facilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors

• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, washrooms, and restroom facilities

• Cleaning windows, glass panels, doors, handrails, and other high-touch surfaces

• Dusting furniture, equipment, fixtures, and workstations

• Cleaning corridors, staircases, elevators, and common areas

• Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste according to established procedures

• Segregating waste and maintaining proper waste management practices

• Refilling soap dispensers, tissue paper, sanitizers, and cleaning supplies

• Performing routine disinfection and sanitation procedures

• Conducting regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained

• Reporting maintenance defects, equipment failures, and safety hazards to supervisors

• Following all workplace safety procedures and infection control protocols

• Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring proper use of all tools and machinery

• Assisting supervisors with additional operational duties when required

• Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed according to schedule and company standards


Workplace Safety and Infection Control

As cleaning operations within educational and healthcare environments require strict adherence to hygiene standards, employees will be trained and expected to comply with all workplace safety regulations and infection prevention procedures.

This includes:

• Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals

• Following sanitation and disinfection protocols

• Adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines

• Maintaining professional standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Reporting safety concerns and incidents promptly
