Full- Time Service Crew (Briyani Stall)
Position: Service Crew (Full-Time)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $2,500 – $2,900 per month
Work Schedule: 5.5 days per week (inclusive of weekends)
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Location: Hougang, North-East Region, Singapore (with opportunities to be deployed to other outlets when required)
About the Role
We are looking for dedicated, energetic, and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Full-Time Service Crew for our Briyani Stall. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a supportive team committed to delivering quality food and excellent service.
As a Service Crew, you will play an important role in ensuring that daily operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. You will be involved in food preparation, food service, cashiering, inventory support, and general stall operations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, responsible, and willing to learn, as every team member contributes to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Daily Stall Operations
- Operate the briyani stall efficiently and ensure smooth day-to-day operations throughout each shift.
- Prepare the stall before opening by setting up equipment, arranging food displays, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all operational requirements are ready before service begins.
- Carry out closing duties including cleaning, equipment shutdown, stock checking, waste disposal, and preparing the stall for the next operating day.
- Ensure the stall remains organised, clean, and presentable throughout operating hours.
Food Preparation and Food Service
- Prepare, portion, and serve briyani, curries, side dishes, beverages, and other menu items according to standard operating procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in food presentation, portion control, and serving quality.
- Monitor food quality throughout the day and ensure all products served meet company standards.
- Replenish food items promptly to ensure continuous availability during service periods.
- Assist with simple food preparation when required by supervisors.
Customer Service
- Welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations when requested.
- Answer customer enquiries regarding menu items, ingredients, and promotions accurately.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve minor concerns professionally while escalating more complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Ensure every customer receives prompt, efficient, and pleasant service.
Cashiering and POS Operations
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately.
- Process cash, NETS, credit card, debit card, and digital payment transactions.
- Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Perform simple end-of-day cash reconciliation and report discrepancies when necessary.
- Maintain accountability and accuracy when handling cash.
Hygiene, Safety and Cleanliness
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and personal cleanliness at all times.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with Singapore food safety regulations.
- Maintain proper food holding temperatures for hot food items.
- Clean food preparation areas, counters, utensils, kitchen equipment, storage areas, and dining areas regularly.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures established by the company.
Inventory Support
- Receive deliveries and verify incoming stock.
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock promptly.
- Refill condiments, takeaway containers, utensils, packaging materials, and other operational supplies throughout the day.
- Assist supervisors during stock counts and inventory audits.
Teamwork
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Support team members during busy meal periods.
- Participate in training sessions and continuously improve product knowledge and service standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management as required for business operations.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum N-Level or O-Level educational qualification.
- Possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (mandatory).
- Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry will be an advantage, although training will be provided for suitable candidates without experience.
- Friendly, positive, and customer-focused personality.
- Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers from different backgrounds.
- Additional language proficiency will be an advantage, particularly languages commonly spoken within the local community.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Responsible, punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts according to operational requirements.
