POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cake Packer plays an essential role in the production and distribution process by ensuring that all bakery products are packed accurately, safely, and efficiently before delivery to retail outlets throughout Singapore. Employees in this role will be responsible for handling various bakery products, including cakes, pastries, and seasonal products, while maintaining strict adherence to food hygiene, quality assurance, and operational procedures.

Successful candidates will work closely with production teams, quality control personnel, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations and timely order fulfillment.

No previous experience is required, as comprehensive training and guidance will be provided to all newly hired employees.


SALARY AND COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Employees may earn a gross monthly salary of up to SGD 2,600, depending on attendance, overtime hours worked, shift allowances, and individual performance.

The compensation package may include:

• Basic monthly salary • Overtime pay in accordance with company policy • Attendance allowance • Weekend working allowance • Public holiday allowance • Performance-related incentives • Annual salary review • Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) • Variable Bonus (subject to company and individual performance)

WORKING HOURS AND SCHEDULE

Regular Working Hours: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Training Period Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Work Cycle: 4 Working Days followed by 1 Rest Day

Working Arrangement: • Rotating roster schedule • Weekends included • Public holidays included • Overtime required when necessary

Employees are expected to maintain flexibility during peak production periods, festive seasons, and periods of increased operational demand.


DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to food packaging, order preparation, product handling, and operational support.

Product Packaging Duties

• Pack cakes, pastries, and bakery products carefully according to company standards. • Select appropriate packaging materials and ensure products are protected during transportation. • Ensure packaging is completed accurately and efficiently. • Verify product labels, production dates, and expiry dates. • Inspect products for quality before packaging. • Maintain consistency in packaging presentation and product appearance. • Handle bakery products with care to prevent damage.

Order Processing Responsibilities

• Read and interpret order sheets from multiple retail outlets. • Prepare products according to quantity requirements and customer specifications. • Verify accuracy of product counts before dispatch. • Ensure orders are completed within required timelines. • Coordinate with supervisors when discrepancies occur. • Maintain accurate documentation and production records.

Sorting and Dispatch Preparation

• Sort packed products according to delivery schedules. • Arrange products based on transportation routes. • Prepare orders for loading and distribution. • Coordinate with delivery personnel and logistics teams. • Ensure products are ready for timely dispatch. • Maintain organized storage and staging areas.

Production Support Responsibilities

• Assist production teams with daily operational requirements. • Prepare packing materials and production equipment. • Support manufacturing activities during peak periods. • Assist with inventory movement and stock replenishment. • Participate in production workflow improvements. • Carry out additional operational duties assigned by supervisors and management.

Hygiene and Food Safety Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and production equipment. • Follow company food safety procedures at all times. • Adhere to hygiene and sanitation regulations. • Participate in cleaning and sanitation activities. • Ensure work areas remain safe and organized. • Follow workplace health and safety requirements. • Use protective equipment according to company guidelines.

Storage and Cold Room Operations

• Handle products stored in chilled and frozen environments. • Enter chiller and freezer rooms when required. • Ensure proper storage procedures are followed. • Monitor product handling conditions. • Maintain product quality during storage and transportation preparation.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Employees will work in a professional food manufacturing environment equipped with modern production facilities. The workplace environment may include:
