SERVICE CREW (CAFÉ / PASTRY / BAR) – PART-TIME

Job Responsibilities
As a Service Crew member, you will be responsible for providing customers with an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Your duties include:
- Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, pastries, desserts, and other food items according to company standards.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet operational requirements.
- Recommend menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings while actively upselling products.
- Operate POS systems, NETS terminals, credit card machines, and other payment devices.
- Process customer payments accurately and handle cashiering responsibilities.
- Assist with online food delivery platforms and prepare takeaway or delivery orders.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
- Monitor food quality and report any operational issues to supervisors.
- Replenish ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, and display products throughout the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of service counters, kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, crockery, and dining areas.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including preparation, stock replenishment, and end-of-day cleaning.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and ready for daily operations.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Comply with all Singapore food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and professional appearance.
- Wear the required protective equipment whenever handling food products.
- Practice safe work procedures to provide a clean and safe environment for customers and colleagues.
- Work closely with supervisors and teammates to maintain efficient outlet operations.
- Support other operational duties assigned by management whenever required.
Job Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
Applicants should possess:
- Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred but not compulsory.
- Experience in cafés, pastry shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, or hospitality establishments will be an added advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Positive mindset and willingness to learn new skills.
- Responsible, reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
