JOB VACANCY: MRT CLEANER (DAY SHIFT / NIGHT SHIFT) – SINGAPORE

Position Overview
As an MRT Cleaner, you will help maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of MRT stations and public facilities. Your work will directly contribute to providing commuters with a clean and comfortable travel environment while supporting Singapore’s high standards of public service.
Employees work within a professional, organized, and safety-focused environment with clearly defined procedures and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning
- Sweep and mop station floors, platforms, corridors, and entrances.
- Clean waiting areas and public spaces.
- Wipe handrails, benches, ticketing machines, lift buttons, and other high-touch surfaces.
Sanitation & Hygiene
- Clean and disinfect public restrooms.
- Refill soap, tissue, and hygiene supplies.
- Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the station.
Waste Management
- Empty rubbish bins regularly.
- Collect and dispose of waste properly.
- Keep waste disposal areas clean and organized.
Equipment & Safety
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Report damaged equipment or potential safety hazards.
Inspection & Reporting
- Identify areas requiring additional cleaning.
- Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
Comprehensive training will be provided before work begins.
Shift Options
Day Shift
Maintain station cleanliness while MRT stations are operating, ensuring public areas remain clean despite high passenger traffic.
Night Shift
Carry out deep cleaning and detailed maintenance after operating hours when passenger traffic is significantly lower.
Both shifts play an important role in maintaining Singapore’s world-class MRT system.
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Salary
SGD 1,500 – SGD 2,500

Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be up to 55 years of age
- Be physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning work
- Be responsible, punctual, and disciplined
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be willing to follow company rules and safety procedures
No prior experience is required. Full training will be provided.
