PUBLIC AREA CLEANER – SOMERSET AREA

We are currently seeking motivated, responsible, and hardworking individuals to join our professional hotel housekeeping team as Public Area Cleaners in the Somerset area of Singapore. Whether you have previous cleaning experience or are completely new to the industry, you are encouraged to apply. As a Public Area Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for hotel guests, visitors, and employees. Your contribution helps ensure that every guest enjoys a pleasant experience while staying at the hotel.

Monthly Salary

– Basic Salary: SGD 2,080 per month
– Overtime Pay Available
– Good Attendance Incentive: SGD 100 per month
– Gross Monthly Salary: Up to SGD 3,000 per month depending on overtime and attendance incentives

Working Schedule

Option 1

– 6 Working Days Per Week
– Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Option 2

– 5 Working Days Per Week
– Shift A: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
– Shift B: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Rest days will be scheduled by the manager based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel’s public areas to ensure a comfortable environment for guests and visitors.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

– Clean hotel lobbies and reception areas.
– Clean corridors, hallways, elevators, lift lobbies, and staircases.
– Maintain the cleanliness of public restrooms throughout the day.
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
– Dust furniture, fixtures, handrails, and decorative surfaces.
– Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, and display panels.
– Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
– Replace trash bags and maintain waste collection areas.
– Replenish toilet paper, soap, tissue, hand towels, and other restroom supplies.
– Ensure all assigned areas remain clean and presentable during operating hours.
– Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests when required.
– Report maintenance issues such as damaged fixtures, leaking pipes, broken lights, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
– Follow all workplace safety rules and hygiene procedures.
– Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely according to company guidelines.
– Assist with deep cleaning projects when scheduled.
– Support other housekeeping duties assigned by supervisors when necessary.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

– Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or maintenance is an advantage but is not required.
– Applicants without experience are welcome as full training will be provided.
– Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties.
– Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
– Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
– Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
– Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Able to work effectively as part of a team.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
– Able to follow company policies and workplace safety procedures at all times.
