Job Description

Aircraft Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of aircraft interiors according to airline and aviation industry standards. Employees work as part of a professional cleaning team to ensure aircraft are ready for the next scheduled flight within strict operational timelines.

This position requires individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning passenger cabins thoroughly before every scheduled departure.
• Vacuuming carpets, walkways, and cabin flooring to remove dust and debris.
• Cleaning passenger seats, headrests, armrests, seat pockets, tray tables, and surrounding areas.
• Wiping windows, interior wall panels, overhead compartments, and storage bins.
• Sanitizing frequently touched surfaces using approved disinfectants.
• Cleaning and disinfecting aircraft lavatories to maintain strict hygiene standards.
• Refilling toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, soap, and other essential restroom supplies.
• Collecting and properly disposing of rubbish from passenger cabins, lavatories, and galley areas.
• Cleaning food preparation areas and crew workstations where required.
• Replacing waste bags and ensuring proper waste segregation procedures are followed.
• Reporting damaged cabin equipment, missing items, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Following airline cleaning checklists and quality assurance procedures.
• Using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery safely and responsibly.
• Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed within aircraft turnaround schedules.
• Complying with airport security regulations and workplace safety requirements at all times.
• Supporting team members to ensure operational efficiency during busy flight schedules.
