Working Hours

Candidates must be comfortable working rotating shifts according to operational requirements.

Day Shift

• 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Night Shift

• 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Each shift includes:

• 11 working hours
• 1-hour unpaid meal break

Shift assignments are based on operational requirements and manpower planning.

Key Responsibilities

As an Airport Baggage Handling Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of passenger baggage throughout airport operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Handling passenger baggage with care and efficiency
• Loading baggage onto conveyor belts
• Unloading luggage from arrival belts
• Transporting baggage between designated airport locations
• Handling oversized and odd-sized baggage safely
• Ensuring baggage is routed to the correct flight
• Verifying baggage movement according to operational procedures
• Supporting baggage transfer activities
• Assisting airport operations during busy flight schedules
• Maintaining accuracy while handling passenger luggage
• Working closely with supervisors and fellow team members
• Following all airport operational procedures
• Adhering to workplace safety regulations
• Maintaining cleanliness within the assigned work area
• Reporting damaged, suspicious, or misplaced baggage immediately
• Using proper lifting techniques to minimize workplace injuries
• Ensuring all assigned duties are completed within required timelines
• Supporting daily operational efficiency across baggage handling activities
• Performing additional operational duties assigned by supervisors when required

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:

• No previous experience required
• Training will be provided
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
• Able to lift and move luggage weighing approximately 30–40kg
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to work rotating day and night shifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced airport operational environment
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to follow company policies and airport regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Able to pass Airport Security Clearance
• Airport Pass will be arranged for successful candidates
