JOB OVERVIEW

A ballet dance studio located near the Clarke Quay area is looking for a reliable, responsible and hardworking Cleaner to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the dance studio and its designated areas. The workplace should remain clean, comfortable, organized and presentable for students, instructors, staff and visitors throughout the day.

This position is suitable for candidates who are comfortable with routine cleaning duties, can work independently and have good attention to detail.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cleaner will be responsible for carrying out daily cleaning and housekeeping duties within the assigned workplace.

Duties include:

– Sweeping and mopping floors in the dance studio and other assigned areas.
– Dusting furniture, shelves, fixtures and other surfaces.
– Wiping tables, counters, doors and frequently touched surfaces.
– Keeping the studio clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
– Cleaning common areas and maintaining good hygiene standards.
– Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste properly.
– Replenishing basic cleaning and hygiene supplies when necessary.
– Checking the cleanliness of the workplace regularly.
– Attending to areas that require additional cleaning during the working shift.
– Maintaining the cleanliness of designated facilities and surrounding areas.
– Ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly.
– Keeping cleaning equipment organized after use.
– Reporting damaged equipment, maintenance issues or areas requiring attention to the supervisor.
– Following workplace safety and hygiene procedures.
– Performing other reasonable cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor.
