About the Role

 

As a Tea Barista, you will be responsible for preparing premium beverages while providing outstanding customer service. You will become an essential member of the store operations team, ensuring every customer enjoys a pleasant and memorable experience whenever they visit CHAGEE.

 

You will learn professional beverage preparation techniques, food safety procedures, customer service standards, inventory management, teamwork, and daily retail operations. This position offers valuable experience for individuals who wish to build a long-term career in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage management.

Key Responsibilities

 

As a Full-Time Tea Barista, your daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

– Prepare a wide range of tea beverages according to CHAGEE’s standard operating procedures.

– Ensure every drink meets company quality standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

– Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional, and efficient service.

– Take customer orders accurately and recommend menu items based on customer preferences.

– Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and process cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.

– Handle customer enquiries professionally and provide product information when required.

– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store, including beverage preparation areas, customer seating areas, counters, storage rooms, and equipment.

– Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.

– Restock ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies throughout the day.

– Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when stock replenishment is required.

– Receive deliveries and organize inventory according to company procedures.

– Assist with store opening and closing procedures.

– Perform equipment cleaning and basic maintenance following company standards.

– Ensure all operational checklists are completed accurately and on time.

– Work closely with supervisors and teammates to maintain smooth daily operations.

– Support promotional campaigns and new product launches.

– Resolve minor customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

– Contribute to maintaining a welcoming, clean, and organized store environment.

– Deliver an exceptional customer experience that encourages repeat visits.

Candidate Requirements

 

We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:

 

– Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.

– No prior experience is required.

– Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

– Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Retail, Hospitality, Customer Service, Coffee Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, Fast Food, or Bubble Tea outlets will be considered an advantage.

– Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

– Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused personality.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Responsible, punctual, and reliable.

– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
