Job Responsibilities

• Handle cashiering duties accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and other payment transactions correctly.
• Ensure all customer transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts and verify payment details before completing each transaction.
• Pack customers’ purchases carefully and professionally.
• Provide friendly, polite, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Welcome customers and assist them with product enquiries.
• Recommend suitable products according to customers’ needs and preferences.
• Explain product features, promotions, and ongoing offers.
• Ensure products are displayed neatly and attractively.
• Replenish merchandise on shelves whenever necessary.
• Receive incoming stock deliveries and verify quantities.
• Monitor stock movement and report low inventory.
• Ensure all products are clearly labelled with the correct prices.
• Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items.
• Maintain proper product rotation according to company guidelines.
• Keep shelves clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the store.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods whenever required.
• Support daily retail operations to ensure smooth business activities.
• Follow company policies and operational procedures.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve store targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the sales floor, cashier counter, and storage areas.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and politely.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors or management.
