Key Responsibilities

As an Aviation Customer Service Crew, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for passengers travelling through Changi Airport. You will play an important role in ensuring passengers receive accurate information, timely assistance, and a pleasant travel experience throughout their airport journey.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Verify passengers’ travel documents, health declarations, vaccination certificates, and other required documentation in accordance with current travel regulations.
  • Assist passengers during the check-in process and ensure they understand airport procedures.
  • Guide passengers in using Self-Service Check-In and Automated Check-In Kiosks.
  • Direct passengers to the appropriate counters, boarding gates, immigration checkpoints, security screening areas, baggage drop counters, and airport facilities.
  • Manage passenger flow at designated service points and FAST Assistance queues to ensure smooth airport operations.
  • Respond professionally to passenger enquiries regarding flights, baggage procedures, airport facilities, airline services, and travel information.
  • Provide clear directions throughout the airport terminal.
  • Assist passengers experiencing difficulties during check-in or self-service procedures.
  • Coordinate with airport personnel and airline representatives whenever additional passenger assistance is required.
  • Escort passengers requiring special assistance, including elderly passengers, passengers with reduced mobility, families travelling with young children, and first-time travelers.
  • Accompany passengers safely from check-in counters to departure gates or airport lounges whenever necessary.
  • Support baggage-related enquiries and provide guidance on baggage handling procedures.
  • Maintain excellent service standards while ensuring compliance with airport operational procedures and security requirements.
  • Observe passenger movement and promptly report operational issues or unusual situations to supervisors.
  • Assist with crowd management during peak travel periods.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure while working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ensure all interactions with passengers reflect high standards of hospitality and customer care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, airline staff, airport operations teams, and other service partners.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and airport regulations at all times.
  • Perform additional operational duties assigned by supervisors when required.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional personality.
  • Comfortable interacting with passengers from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to assist passengers whenever required.
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence in using digital devices and automated systems.
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Able to commit to permanent night shift schedules.
  • Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to airport operational procedures.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, aviation, tourism, retail, or frontline service roles will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
