About The Position
The Delivery Assistant position is an important operational role that supports the daily movement, transportation, distribution, and management of goods and materials throughout various healthcare institutions in Singapore. Employees in this position will work closely with delivery drivers, warehouse personnel, logistics coordinators, and supervisory staff to ensure that deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
The role requires individuals who are physically fit, highly responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting to changing operational requirements. Successful candidates will gain exposure to professional logistics operations while developing practical skills in transportation support, inventory management, warehouse operations, and healthcare logistics systems.

Work Locations
Successful candidates may be assigned to support operational activities at several major healthcare institutions located within Singapore’s West and Central regions, including but not limited to:
- National University Hospital (NUH)
- Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH)
- Singapore General Hospital (SGH)
Depending on operational requirements, manpower allocation, and daily workload demands, employees may be assigned to one or more locations during a workday. Staff members should therefore be prepared to travel between designated facilities whenever required.
To facilitate efficient operations, transportation will be arranged and provided by the company. Employees will travel together with company drivers and operational teams when carrying out assigned duties. Daily reporting locations and deployment schedules will typically be communicated approximately one to two working days in advance.
This rotational deployment system provides employees with broader exposure to different operational environments and contributes to the development of practical workplace experience across multiple healthcare institutions.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Delivery Assistant, you will perform a variety of operational, logistical, and administrative support duties. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delivery Support Operations
- Assist company drivers in completing daily delivery schedules
- Support transportation activities between warehouses and healthcare institutions
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within designated timeframes
- Accompany delivery personnel during transportation assignments
- Assist in route preparation and delivery coordination
- Verify delivery destinations and schedules before departure
- Ensure materials are transported safely and securely
Loading and Unloading Activities
- Load goods, supplies, equipment, and materials onto company vehicles
- Unload deliveries at designated locations
- Ensure all items are handled safely and professionally
- Follow proper lifting and material handling procedures
- Prevent damage, loss, or misplacement of goods
- Verify quantities during loading and unloading processes
- Organize items efficiently to maximize transportation capacity
Warehouse Operations
- Assist with receiving incoming inventory and supplies
- Sort, categorize, and organize warehouse inventory
- Support stock arrangement and storage activities
- Prepare goods for transportation and distribution
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within warehouse facilities
- Follow warehouse safety regulations and operational procedures
Inventory Management
- Perform inventory counting and stock verification activities
- Conduct barcode scanning and inventory tracking procedures
- Monitor inventory movement and stock levels
- Assist with stock reconciliation processes
- Record inventory transactions accurately
- Identify discrepancies and report issues to supervisors
- Support inventory audits and operational reviews
Material Handling Operations
- Handle medical and non-medical supplies according to operational guidelines
- Ensure materials are transported and stored properly
- Follow all handling procedures and safety requirements
- Support distribution activities throughout assigned facilities
- Assist with inventory replenishment activities
- Coordinate movement of supplies between departments and facilities
Documentation and Administrative Support
- Complete delivery records and operational documentation
- Verify delivery orders and inventory records
- Assist with filing and record maintenance
- Report operational issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of completed assignments
- Support supervisors with administrative requirements when necessary
General Operational Duties
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
- Follow company operational policies and procedures
- Observe workplace health and safety regulations
- Participate in operational briefings and training sessions

- Assist with urgent operational requirements

Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualifications

Physical Requirements
