Join Our Catering Team

We are currently looking for responsible, hardworking, and committed individuals to join our team as a Dishwasher Cum Catering Assistant. This position is suitable for candidates who are looking for a stable full-time job with a regular working schedule and a professional working environment.

The successful candidate will support daily catering and food service operations by ensuring cleanliness, hygiene standards, and smooth preparation before, during, and after meal periods. You will work closely with chefs, supervisors, and other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

Candidates with previous experience in dishwashing, cleaning, catering, kitchen support, or food service will have an advantage. However, candidates without experience are also welcome to apply as training and guidance will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn, follow instructions, and contribute positively to the team.

Job Responsibilities

Dishwashing and Cleaning Duties

• Wash, clean, sanitize, and organize all dishes, plates, bowls, cutlery, trays, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely according to company procedures.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized and ready for use during daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, sinks, shelves, storage areas, and surrounding equipment.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing machines, tools, and facilities to ensure proper operation.
• Remove food waste from designated areas and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and sanitize waste bins regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
• Report any damaged equipment, machine faults, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.

Catering Support Duties

• Assist with daily catering preparation and food service operations.
• Ensure food counters and serving areas are properly cleaned and arranged before meal times.
• Prepare serving equipment, utensils, food containers, and other necessary items before service begins.
• Assist in maintaining proper food presentation and cleanliness during meal periods.
• Support food serving activities by distributing meals according to approved portions and requirements.
• Ensure food display areas remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Refill serving items and maintain sufficient supplies during operations.
• Assist chefs and catering staff whenever required to ensure smooth service.

Workplace Maintenance Duties

• Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment throughout the assigned areas.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
• Keep storage areas organized and ensure equipment is stored properly after use.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following all safety rules and procedures.
• Wear the provided uniform and maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, kitchen operations, cleaning, or dishwashing is preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced food service environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and catering duties.
• Good attitude with strong commitment to work.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and workplace discipline.
