Salary

Basic Salary:
S2,800 – $3,800 per month

Gross Salary:
Up to $4,500++ per month

Available Positions

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical Technician provides immediate pre-hospital emergency medical care and assists patients during emergency situations. EMTs are responsible for responding promptly to emergency calls while ensuring patients receive appropriate treatment before arrival at the hospital.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency dispatches.

• Provide professional pre-hospital patient care.

• Perform patient assessments.

• Obtain patient medical history when possible.

• Monitor patient vital signs.

• Administer approved emergency treatments.

• Perform Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Conduct Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) when required.

• Apply Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when necessary.

• Control external bleeding.

• Dress wounds and injuries.

• Immobilise fractures and spinal injuries.

• Administer oxygen therapy.

• Assist patients experiencing breathing difficulties.

• Assist patients suffering from medical emergencies.

• Safely transfer patients between locations.

• Assist with patient lifting and transportation.

• Communicate effectively with hospitals and emergency departments.

• Complete patient care documentation accurately.

• Ensure ambulance medical equipment is fully operational.

• Maintain cleanliness of emergency equipment.

• Replenish medical supplies after each deployment.

• Follow all operational protocols and safety guidelines.

• Maintain professionalism during emergency situations.


Paramedic

The Paramedic provides advanced emergency medical care for patients requiring immediate medical attention. This role requires sound clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm while working under pressure.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond immediately to emergency incidents.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS).

• Conduct advanced airway management procedures.

• Perform cardiac monitoring.

• Interpret patient conditions.

• Administer emergency medications according to established protocols.

• Perform life-saving medical interventions.

• Manage trauma patients.

• Stabilise critically ill patients.

• Assist patients experiencing cardiac emergencies.

• Treat respiratory emergencies.

• Manage medical emergencies in accordance with approved guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and emergency department personnel.

• Communicate patient conditions accurately during handovers.

• Prepare detailed patient documentation.

• Ensure compliance with clinical standards.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintain emergency medical equipment.

• Participate in operational readiness activities.

• Attend mandatory refresher training and competency assessments.


EMT Driver

The EMT Driver is responsible for operating emergency vehicles safely while supporting emergency medical teams during ambulance operations. This position requires excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to remain composed during emergency responses.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate emergency ambulances safely.

• Respond rapidly to emergency dispatches.

• Ensure safe transportation of patients.

• Follow all emergency driving regulations.

• Select the safest and most efficient travel routes.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections.

• Perform routine vehicle readiness checks.

• Monitor fuel and vehicle maintenance requirements.

• Ensure emergency equipment is properly secured.

• Assist EMTs and Paramedics during emergency operations.

• Assist with patient lifting and stretcher handling.

• Load and unload patients safely.

• Maintain ambulance cleanliness.

• Report vehicle defects promptly.

• Complete vehicle documentation accurately.

• Ensure ambulance readiness at all times.

Candidates holding a Defensive Driving Certificate and Emergency Vehicle Driving Certificate will have an added advantage.


Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Singapore Citizens only.

• Physically fit and medically suitable for operational duties.

• Able to work rotating shifts.

• Comfortable working weekends and Public Holidays.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Able to perform effectively under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance and conduct.

• Relevant healthcare certification preferred for EMT and Paramedic positions.

• Previous emergency medical experience will be an advantage.

• Valid Class 3 or Class 3A Driving Licence preferred for EMT Driver applicants.

• Good attendance and work discipline.

• Willingness to participate in continuous training programmes.

Rotating Shift Schedule

Average 4 working days per week

Morning Shift

Afternoon Shift

Night Shift

Weekends and Public Holidays according to roster
