As a Food Processing Operator, you will play an important role in supporting daily manufacturing operations and ensuring that every product produced meets the company’s strict food safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for operating production machinery, preparing raw materials, monitoring production processes, conducting quality inspections, maintaining workplace cleanliness, and following all company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

Operate food processing machinery and manufacturing equipment according to company procedures and operational guidelines.

Prepare machines before the start of each production shift by performing necessary setup, adjustments, and operational checks.

Ensure machines are running efficiently throughout the production process while maintaining productivity and product quality.

Monitor machine performance continuously and identify any unusual sounds, malfunctions, or operational issues.

Perform minor machine adjustments whenever necessary to maintain smooth production flow.

Report equipment breakdowns or mechanical problems immediately to supervisors or maintenance personnel.

Assist production supervisors in minimizing downtime and improving manufacturing efficiency.

Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining strict quality standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce production waste.

Follow all production schedules and daily manufacturing plans.

Production Duties

Prepare raw materials before production begins.

Load raw materials into production machinery carefully and accurately.

Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Assist in assembling food products throughout different stages of production.

Package finished food products according to company specifications.

Seal, label, and prepare products for storage or shipment.

Transfer products safely between different production stations.

Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent contamination or damage.

Maintain proper production records whenever required.

Follow all food manufacturing procedures consistently.

Quality Control Responsibilities

Inspect products regularly throughout the production process.

Identify defects, contamination, incorrect packaging, or products that do not meet company standards.

Separate non-conforming products immediately.

Report quality concerns promptly to supervisors or Quality Assurance personnel.

Assist in implementing corrective actions whenever production issues occur.

Ensure all finished products comply with company quality standards before packaging.

Support food safety programs and quality assurance procedures.

Maintain accurate quality inspection records where required.

Pay close attention to every stage of production to reduce errors and improve product consistency.

Equipment Maintenance

Clean production machines before and after every production shift.

Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Ensure all machinery remains clean, safe, and ready for operation.

Inspect equipment regularly for signs of wear or damage.

Report faulty equipment immediately for repair.

Maintain production tools in good working condition.

Follow preventive maintenance procedures instructed by supervisors.

Support maintenance teams whenever required during servicing activities.

Workplace Cleaning and Hygiene

Maintain cleanliness throughout the production area.

Clean production lines, machinery, tables, workstations, floors, and surrounding areas regularly.

Dispose of production waste according to company procedures.

Prevent contamination by maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.

Ensure all cleaning activities comply with food hygiene regulations.

Maintain organized storage areas for tools and production materials.

Support sanitation activities before and after production.

Always keep the workplace clean, tidy, and safe.

Workplace Safety

Comply with all workplace health and safety regulations.

Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout working hours.

Operate machinery safely and responsibly.

Report unsafe working conditions immediately.

Report accidents, incidents, and near misses to supervisors.

Follow emergency procedures whenever required.

Handle food products carefully to prevent contamination.

Handle machinery according to operational safety instructions.

Promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Participate in workplace safety briefings and training sessions.

General Responsibilities

Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.

Follow all company policies, food safety regulations, and manufacturing procedures.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience in food manufacturing, food production, factory operations, production, packaging, or machine operation is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidates without experience are welcome to apply as comprehensive training will be provided.
