Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Food Service Crew member, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant while ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and high-quality food.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Food Preparation and Kitchen Operations

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure all food is prepared consistently according to company quality standards
  • Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Monitor food freshness and maintain proper food storage procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food preparation areas
  • Assist in inventory rotation using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) practices
  • Replenish ingredients, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies when required
  • Report equipment malfunctions or operational concerns to supervisors promptly

Customer Service

  • Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
  • Recommend promotional items and new menu offerings where appropriate
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and process cash, card, and digital payments
  • Assemble customer orders accurately before serving
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary
  • Ensure every customer enjoys a pleasant and satisfying dining experience

Restaurant Operations

  • Support both Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service counters, kitchen stations, and food preparation areas
  • Perform opening, closing, and shift preparation duties
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks
  • Ensure equipment and workstations remain clean and operational throughout each shift
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
  • Support promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth restaurant operations during peak and non-peak hours
  • Complete additional operational duties assigned by supervisors or managers

Candidate Requirements

  • Be flexible to work rotating shifts
  • Be available to work weekends and Public Holidays
  • Be comfortable performing duties in both Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations
  • Follow company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures consistently
  • Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry is an advantage but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided
