FOODHALL CLEANER – URGENT HIRING

Location: Tai Seng, Singapore
Salary: SGD $2,600–$2,800/Month
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Part-Time
Work Schedule: 5.5–6 Days/Week
Working Hours: Shift Work, up to 11 hours per day (Overtime payable after 44 hours per week for Full-Time employees)

As a Foodhall Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment for customers, staff, and visitors. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will help ensure that the foodhall remains safe, comfortable, and welcoming throughout the day. You will work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness while following company policies and workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the foodhall, dining areas, and common facilities throughout each shift.
• Clear used food trays, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, and other dining items immediately after customers leave their tables.
• Wipe, clean, and sanitize dining tables, chairs, countertops, and other frequently touched surfaces using approved cleaning products.
• Sweep and mop all floor areas regularly to remove food spills, dirt, dust, grease, and other debris.
• Ensure walkways and dining areas remain clean, dry, and safe to prevent slip and fall hazards.
• Wash, scrub, and disinfect toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, mirrors, walls, floors, doors, and other washroom facilities according to hygiene standards.
• Refill toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, tissue products, and other washroom consumables whenever required.
• Empty rubbish bins, recycling bins, and food waste containers before they become full.
• Replace garbage bags and ensure all waste is disposed of properly according to company procedures.
• Clean and maintain cleaning equipment after every shift to ensure they remain in good working condition.
• Store chemicals, cleaning tools, and equipment safely according to workplace safety guidelines.
• Carry out routine cleaning schedules and complete assigned cleaning checklists accurately.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness during peak operating hours to ensure customers always enjoy a pleasant dining environment.
• Follow food safety, workplace hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times.
• Cooperate with supervisors and colleagues to complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Perform additional cleaning duties and operational tasks assigned by the Manager whenever required.

Requirements

• No experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, foodcourt, foodhall, restaurant, hotel, or facility maintenance will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Comfortable carrying out washroom cleaning as part of daily responsibilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Responsible, honest, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.
• Good teamwork skills with the ability to work independently whenever necessary.
• Positive learning attitude and willingness to follow company procedures.
• Able to communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
• Able to commit to rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and the assigned work schedule when required.
