FULL-TIME CASHIER – URGENT HIRING
Location: Downtown Core & Multiple Locations, Singapore
Job Type: Full-Time
Working Schedule: Rotating Shifts (Including Weekends & Public Holidays)
Salary: SGD $2,400–$2,450/Month

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Full-Time Cashier, you will play an important role in creating a pleasant shopping experience for every customer. You will be the final point of contact before customers leave the store, making your professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency essential in representing the company’s service standards.
You will also work closely with supervisors, store managers, and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Welcome every customer with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Greet customers politely and provide excellent customer service throughout every transaction.
• Operate cashier counters accurately and efficiently.
• Operate Self-Checkout machines and assist customers whenever assistance is required.
• Process payments using cash, NETS, debit cards, credit cards, mobile payments, vouchers, gift cards, and other approved payment methods.
• Ensure every transaction is completed accurately with proper receipts issued.
• Count cash carefully before the beginning of every shift.
• Balance the cash drawer accurately at the end of every shift.
• Perform opening procedures before store operations begin.
• Perform closing procedures according to company SOP.
• Complete end-of-day cashier settlement accurately.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and void transactions according to company policies.
• Resolve minor customer enquiries politely and professionally.
• Escalate difficult customer issues to supervisors whenever necessary.
• Promote ongoing store promotions, loyalty memberships, reward programmes, and special campaigns.
• Assist customers with product enquiries whenever possible.
• Help customers locate products inside the store.
• Pack customers’ groceries carefully whenever assistance is required.
• Ensure checkout counters remain neat, clean, and organized throughout the day.
• Replenish products displayed near cashier counters.
• Replace promotional displays whenever instructed.
• Check product prices and barcode accuracy.
• Report pricing discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure shelves near checkout counters are always fully stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness around checkout areas.
• Follow food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
• Handle company property responsibly.
• Follow company policies and operational procedures at all times.
• Cooperate closely with supervisors and team members.
• Support other store departments whenever operational needs arise.
• Attend company training sessions and meetings.
• Participate in inventory support whenever assigned.
• Assist during festive promotions and peak shopping periods.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure confidential company information is protected.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors or store management.
REQUIREMENTS

• Committed to delivering excellent service.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
