Workplace Location

The workplace is conveniently located in Jurong East, one of Singapore’s busiest commercial districts with excellent public transportation access.

Employees can conveniently travel to work using MRT and public buses, making daily commuting easy and efficient.


Employment Information

Position: Kitchen Assistant (Drink)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Days: 6 Days Per Week

Working Hours: 8 Hours Per Shift (Including Break Time)

Rotating Shift Schedule: Morning Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Applicants must be comfortable working rotating shifts according to the company’s operational requirements.

Candidates must also be willing and able to work on both Saturdays and Sundays. Weekly rest days will be arranged according to the company roster.


Monthly Salary

Starting Gross Salary: From SGD $2,636 per month

Salary Breakdown:

Basic Salary: SGD $2,410

Fixed Flexi Allowance: SGD $25

Fixed AWS Allowance: SGD $201

Overtime payments are not included in the above gross salary and will be paid separately whenever applicable according to company policy and operational requirements.


Job Overview

As a Kitchen Assistant (Drink), you will be responsible for assisting in the daily beverage preparation operations while ensuring that customers receive quality products and excellent service.

You will work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain smooth daily operations, food safety standards, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

This position plays an important role in ensuring every customer enjoys a pleasant dining experience through efficient service and consistently prepared food and beverages.


Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.

Operate coffee machines and beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently.

Toast traditional Singapore breakfast items including Kaya Toast and other bread products.

Prepare beverage ingredients before store opening.

Ensure drinks are served promptly while maintaining quality consistency.

Perform cashiering duties including handling customer payments accurately.

Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

Issue receipts and process different payment methods.

Attend to customer enquiries politely and professionally.

Provide friendly customer service throughout each shift.

Maintain cleanliness of beverage preparation stations.

Ensure kitchen counters remain neat and organized.

Wash cups, utensils, equipment, trays, and preparation tools.

Replenish ingredients and beverage supplies whenever necessary.

Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is required.

Follow all company food safety procedures.

Maintain excellent hygiene standards at all times.

Practice proper food handling techniques.

Observe workplace health and safety regulations.

Assist colleagues whenever required during peak operating hours.

Support opening duties before business begins.

Support closing duties after business hours.

Dispose of waste according to company procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of storage areas.

Ensure all preparation equipment is cleaned after use.

Follow daily operational checklists.

Perform quality checks on prepared beverages.

Ensure customer orders are completed accurately.

Handle customer requests politely.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.

Maintain punctuality and attendance according to company expectations.

Complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors or management whenever operational needs require.
