GENERAL CONSTRUCTION WORKER

PLASTERING & PAINTING

A construction company in Singapore is currently looking for suitable candidates to join as General Construction Workers, with work involving plastering, painting, and general construction duties.

A Foreman position is also available for experienced candidates who have previous experience supervising construction workers and managing work on site.

JOB LOCATION

Singapore

WORKING SCHEDULE

Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Working Days: 5 days per week
Rest Day: Sunday

SALARY DETAILS

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION WORKER – ANY NATIONALITY

Basic Salary: SGD 1,600 – 1,700 per month

Working schedule: Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday as rest day

Candidates from any nationality may be considered, subject to the applicable work permit and employment requirements.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION WORKER – MALAYSIA QUOTA

Salary: SGD 1,700 – 2,100 per month, before OT

Working schedule: Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday as rest day

Overtime may be available depending on work requirements and company arrangements.

FOREMAN – SG / PR / LTVP

Salary: SGD 3,000 – 4,000 per month

Working schedule: Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday as rest day

This position is suitable for candidates with strong construction experience who are able to lead workers and supervise daily site activities.

REQUIREMENTS – GENERAL CONSTRUCTION WORKER

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• SEC(K) Certificate, R1 Level required
• Previous experience in construction work is preferred
• Experience in plastering and painting will be an added advantage
• Able to perform general construction duties as assigned
• Able to work safely and follow instructions from supervisors
• Responsible, hardworking and disciplined
• Able to work effectively as part of a construction team
• Physically fit and suitable for construction site work
• Willing to work according to the required schedule
• Able to start work immediately

REQUIREMENTS – FOREMAN

Candidates applying for the Foreman position should have:

• Relevant experience as a Construction Foreman
• Previous experience in construction site supervision
• Experience in plastering, painting or related construction work is an advantage
• Ability to lead, coordinate and supervise workers on site
• Ability to monitor daily work progress
• Ability to ensure workers follow safety procedures
• Good understanding of construction site operations
• Good communication skills in English or Mandarin
• Responsible and capable of handling site responsibilities
• Able to coordinate tasks and manage workers efficiently
• Able to start work immediately

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

For the General Construction Worker position, duties may include assisting with general construction activities, plastering, painting, preparing work areas, handling construction materials and carrying out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Workers are expected to follow workplace safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, cooperate with other workers and complete assigned duties according to the project requirements.

For the Foreman position, responsibilities include supervising workers, coordinating daily site activities, monitoring work progress, assigning tasks, ensuring work is completed according to requirements and maintaining proper safety standards at the construction site.

The Foreman will also be expected to communicate with workers and management, identify issues on site and ensure that work is carried out efficiently.
