Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

SALARY

Full-Time: $2,340 – $2,500 per month
Part-Time: $90 per shift

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Hawker Stall Assistant / Service Crew member at The One Penyet, you will be involved in the daily operation of the food stall. Depending on your assigned role, you may assist with customer service, cashiering, food preparation, cooking, packing orders, cleaning and general stall operations.

We are looking for team members who are willing to learn, able to follow instructions and can work together with colleagues to maintain smooth and efficient daily operations.

FRONT OF HOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome customers and provide friendly and professional service.

• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Handle cashiering duties, including cash, card payments and SGQR e-payments.

• Ensure customers receive the correct food and drinks according to their orders.

• Pack takeaway orders carefully and check that all items are complete before handing them to customers.

• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.

• Keep the front counter clean, organized and presentable at all times.

• Ensure menu boards and condiment stations are clean, properly arranged and sufficiently stocked.

• Assist customers with basic enquiries regarding menu items and orders.

• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.

• Support other service crew members during busy operating periods.

BACK OF HOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily food preparation activities.

• Wash, cut and portion ingredients according to the required preparation procedures.

• Assist with basic cooking tasks such as boiling, frying and assembling dishes.

• Follow instructions from the kitchen team and ensure food is prepared properly.

• Assist in preparing ingredients and food items for daily operations.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.

• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, pots, pans and other equipment.

• Keep workstations clean and organized during operating hours.

• Dispose of food waste appropriately and maintain proper cleanliness standards.

• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

• Assist the team during peak periods to ensure orders are prepared and served efficiently.

• Perform other reasonable duties required for the smooth operation of the food stall.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (PR).

The ideal candidate should be hardworking, reliable, punctual and responsible.

Candidates should have a friendly personality and be comfortable interacting with customers and working with colleagues.

Applicants must be willing to work in a fast-paced food and beverage environment and able to work six days per week according to the assigned schedule.

Good teamwork, communication and a positive working attitude are important for this position.

Previous experience in a hawker stall, restaurant, food court, kitchen or other F&B environment is an advantage, but suitable candidates who are willing to learn may also be considered.

FOOD SAFETY COURSE

A valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate is preferred.

If you do not currently have the certificate, do not worry. Training can be arranged for suitable candidates.
