HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT – HOSPITAL (RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT)
Location: Sengkang MRT / LRT, North-East Singapore
Salary: $2,000 – $2,400 per month
Employment: Full-Time, Contract

Working Hours: Rotating Shifts, including Overnight Shifts
Work Schedule: Able to work weekends and Public Holidays when rostered
Commitment: 3–5 Months
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join a hospital team in the Radiology Department. This position involves supporting patients and healthcare staff with daily departmental operations, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, preparing rooms and equipment, and assisting with various procedures and dispatching duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Assistance • Guide patients to the appropriate areas within the Radiology Department. • Assist patients with basic enquiries and directions. • Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients. • Provide basic support to patients before and after their appointments or procedures. • Communicate politely and professionally with patients, visitors and hospital staff.
- Room and Equipment Preparation • Prepare rooms before scheduled procedures. • Ensure rooms and work areas are clean, organized and ready for use. • Sanitize equipment and work surfaces according to departmental procedures. • Replenish supplies and ensure essential items are available. • Assist in maintaining proper housekeeping standards within the department.
- Departmental Support • Assist healthcare staff with routine operational duties. • Support procedures as instructed by the healthcare team. • Assist with dispatching and movement of items when required. • Ensure documents, equipment and supplies are handled appropriately. • Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors or the department.
- Administrative and Computer Support • Perform basic data entry and administrative tasks when required. • Use basic computer systems for daily work activities. • Follow departmental processes and instructions accurately. • Maintain proper records and ensure information is handled responsibly.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• PSLE or equivalent qualification. • Basic English communication skills. • Basic computer skills are required. • Comfortable using basic technology and computer systems. • Able to communicate politely with patients and colleagues. • Responsible, reliable and willing to learn. • Able to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment. • Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills. • Patient and service-oriented attitude. • Able to work independently when required. • Must be willing to perform rotating shifts. • MUST be able to work overnight shifts. • Able to work weekends and Public Holidays when rostered. • Able to commit for 3–5 months.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The successful candidate will be working in a hospital Radiology Department where teamwork, cleanliness, patient service and attention to detail are important.
The role requires candidates to be adaptable and comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment. You may be required to interact with different patients, assist healthcare staff and handle various operational tasks throughout the shift.
Candidates should be prepared for rotating working hours and understand that overnight shifts may be included in the work schedule.
EXPERIENCE
Previous healthcare or hospital experience may be an advantage, but candidates who meet the basic requirements and are willing to learn may also apply.
Candidates should have a positive attitude, good work discipline and the ability to work professionally in a hospital environment.
COMMITMENT REQUIREMENT
Applicants must be able to commit for a minimum period of 3–5 months.
