Position: Healthcare Assistant
Working Location: Government Hospital @ Jurong East
Nearest MRT: Jurong East MRT
Salary: $1,700 – $2,500 per month
Working Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Working Days: Monday – Sunday
Shift System: 3 Rotating Shifts

WORKING HOURS

Shift 1: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Shift 2: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Shift 3: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for suitable candidates to join a Government Hospital in Jurong East as a Healthcare Assistant.

The Healthcare Assistant will work closely with nurses and healthcare staff to provide daily assistance and basic care to patients. This position is suitable for candidates with relevant healthcare, nursing or nurse aide qualifications and experience who are interested in developing their career in Singapore’s healthcare sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist patients with their daily activities and care needs.

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and bathing.

• Provide assistance with feeding and toileting.

• Assist patients with lifting, transferring and transportation.

• Take, record and report patients’ vital signs, including temperature, pulse and blood pressure.

• Assist nurses and healthcare staff in attending to patients.

• Follow hospital procedures and practices when providing patient care.

• Ensure patients receive proper assistance according to their daily care requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and proper organisation of the hospital ward.

• Keep equipment, trolley and assigned areas clean and organised.

• Work together with nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant certification in Healthcare, Nursing or Nurse Aid.

• Candidates with relevant healthcare or nursing experience are preferred.

• Able to work rotating shifts, including night shift.

• Willing to work 5 days per week according to the hospital’s roster.

• Responsible, hardworking and able to follow instructions.

• Good attitude and able to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Monthly salary: $1,700 – $2,500
