As a Hotel Banquet Service Crew, you will play an important role in ensuring every banquet, wedding, conference, corporate function, celebration, and special event is carried out smoothly and professionally. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare banquet halls, function rooms, meeting venues, and event spaces before guests arrive.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, tableware, glassware, cutlery, and serving equipment according to hotel standards.
• Ensure all banquet equipment is clean, properly arranged, and ready before every function begins.
• Assist with event setup according to different banquet layouts and customer requirements.
• Welcome guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Escort or guide guests when necessary.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Ensure food is served promptly and accurately.
• Refill beverages whenever required.
• Clear used plates, glasses, cutlery, and serving equipment throughout the event.
• Reset dining tables quickly and efficiently whenever required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all banquet areas throughout service.
• Ensure all service stations remain fully stocked and organized.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
• Work closely with banquet supervisors, captains, chefs, kitchen staff, and fellow service crew to ensure smooth event operations.
• Follow instructions from supervisors promptly and accurately.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle banquet equipment carefully to avoid damage.
• Assist with post-event clearing, cleaning, and resetting of banquet venues.
• Support different banquet functions including weddings, corporate dinners, conferences, seminars, gala dinners, exhibitions, private celebrations, and special events.
• Ensure every guest receives courteous, efficient, and professional service throughout the event.
• Represent the hotel professionally at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• No previous experience is required.
• Comprehensive training will be provided for successful applicants.
• Previous experience in hotel, banquet, restaurant, café, catering, or food and beverage service will be an added advantage.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
