WE ARE HIRING – IN-HOUSE CLEANER (FULL-TIME)

Position Details

Position: In-House Cleaner
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Location: SYNERGY, Jurong East, Singapore
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 Days per Week)
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (or according to work roster)
Monthly Salary: SGD $2,080 – $2,200 (depending on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

As an In-House Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant office environment for employees, visitors, and clients. You will ensure that all assigned work areas meet the company’s cleanliness and hygiene standards while supporting the daily operations of the workplace.

You will work closely with the Site Supervisor and follow established cleaning procedures to maintain high-quality service at all times.


Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain office floors, reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, lift lobbies, staircases, and other common areas.

• Dust and wipe office furniture, desks, workstations, cabinets, counters, shelves, window sills, telephones, office equipment, and other accessible surfaces.

• Clean and sanitize glass doors, partitions, mirrors, and interior windows to ensure a clean and professional appearance throughout the office.

• Empty rubbish bins, replace bin liners, segregate waste where required, and dispose of waste at designated collection points.

• Maintain pantry cleanliness by cleaning sinks, countertops, cabinets, coffee machines, microwaves, refrigerators (external surfaces), water dispensers, tables, and other pantry equipment.

• Perform daily pantry stock checks and ensure pantry items are properly organized.

• Replenish cleaning materials and consumable items whenever necessary.

• Ensure toilets and common washroom facilities remain clean, hygienic, and well-maintained whenever assigned.

• Remove stains, fingerprints, dust, and dirt from surfaces to maintain a neat and presentable workplace.

• Properly store cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals after use according to company safety procedures.

• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or insufficient cleaning supplies promptly to the Supervisor.

• Follow all workplace safety regulations and comply with company cleaning standards and operational procedures.

• Perform any additional cleaning duties or reasonable tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor or Management.


Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Minimum ITE qualification.

• Previous experience as an Office Cleaner, Commercial Cleaner, Hotel Cleaner, Housekeeping Staff, or In-House Cleaner is an advantage.

• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided for suitable applicants.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties.

• No major medical conditions that may affect work performance.

• Responsible, honest, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

• Able to communicate in basic English for daily workplace communication and instructions.

• Positive working attitude with willingness to learn and continuously improve.
