URGENT HIRING – INDOOR CLEANER

We are currently hiring Indoor Cleaners / Supermarket Cleaners for multiple locations across Singapore. Position: Indoor Cleaner / Supermarket Cleaner

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Salary: $2,450 – $2,497 per Month

Payment: Every 2 Weeks

Workplace: Fully Air-Conditioned Supermarkets

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Indoor Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and general appearance of assigned supermarket areas.

The successful applicant will carry out routine cleaning duties throughout the working day and ensure that assigned areas are kept clean, tidy, and presentable.

The position involves general indoor cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning entrances and hallways, emptying rubbish bins, replacing bin bags, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the assigned workplace.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Floor Cleaning

  • Sweep supermarket floors regularly.
  • Mop floors and assigned areas.
  • Remove dust, dirt, and other debris.
  • Keep supermarket floors clean and presentable.
  • Clean high-traffic areas when required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of designated walking areas.
  • Ensure floors are maintained according to the required workplace standards.
  • Carry out additional floor cleaning when requested by the supervisor.

Hallway and Entrance Cleaning

  • Clean supermarket entrances.
  • Sweep and mop hallways.
  • Maintain cleanliness around entrances and walkways.
  • Keep customer access areas clean and tidy.
  • Remove rubbish and dirt from common areas.
  • Ensure frequently used areas receive proper cleaning.
  • Maintain a neat and presentable appearance throughout the assigned areas.

Bin and Waste Management

  • Empty rubbish bins when required.
  • Remove rubbish from assigned areas.
  • Replace full or used bin bags with new bags.
  • Keep rubbish collection areas clean.
  • Maintain cleanliness around waste disposal areas.
  • Handle routine waste collection according to workplace procedures.
  • Ensure bins are returned to their designated areas after cleaning.

General Cleaning Duties

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the assigned supermarket.
  • Follow the daily cleaning schedule.
  • Complete cleaning duties according to instructions.
  • Follow directions given by supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the working shift.
  • Work together with other cleaning staff.
  • Report cleaning-related issues when necessary.
  • Ensure assigned areas are properly cleaned before completing the shift.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The position is based mainly in supermarket and indoor environments.

The supermarkets are fully air-conditioned, providing a comfortable indoor workplace while employees carry out their daily cleaning responsibilities.

The job may require employees to stand and walk for extended periods and perform routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, replacing rubbish bags, and maintaining common areas.
