Din Tai Fung is currently hiring Kitchen Assistants and Chefs for its outlets across Singapore.

WORK LOCATION:
Islandwide – More than 30 outlets available
Candidates may choose their preferred location, subject to availability and operational requirements.

Kitchen Assistant / Chef

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
Part-Time / Full-Time

WORKING SCHEDULE:
5.5 Days Per Week

SALARY:
$2,500 – $5,000 per month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for motivated, responsible and hardworking individuals to join the Din Tai Fung kitchen team.

As a Kitchen Assistant or Chef, you will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring that food is prepared according to the company’s quality, hygiene and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist chefs with daily ingredient preparation and kitchen operations
• Prepare and handle ingredients according to company procedures
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and strict company SOPs
• Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation meet Din Tai Fung standards
• Assist with food preparation during busy operating hours
• Maintain proper food handling and hygiene practices
• Keep the kitchen, preparation areas and equipment clean and organized
• Follow workplace safety and food hygiene requirements
• Assist with serving and introducing dishes to customers when required
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
• Support other kitchen duties assigned by supervisors or managers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Passionate about the Food & Beverage and service industry
• Positive and responsible working attitude
• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Willing to follow company SOPs, food safety and hygiene standards
• Training will be provided
