MACHINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES
We are looking for experienced candidates to join a leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Singapore as a Machine Maintenance Technician.
This position is suitable for candidates with experience in machine maintenance, equipment maintenance, machine repair, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical maintenance.
Candidates should have strong hands-on technical skills, good troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to follow company SOPs, maintenance schedules, safety procedures, and work instructions.
SALARY PACKAGE
Basic Salary: SGD 1,600 per month
Gross Salary: Up to SGD 2,500+ per month
Additional allowances and payments are available depending on the working shift, attendance, overtime, and company conditions.
Shift Allowance:
Day Shift Allowance: SGD 100/month
Night Shift Allowance: SGD 400/month
Full Attendance Bonus: SGD 100/month
Overtime Payment:
Normal Overtime: 1.5x
Public Holiday / Rest Day: 2.0x, where applicable
Total gross salary may reach SGD 2,500+ depending on shift allowance, attendance bonus, overtime, and other applicable salary components.
WORKING SCHEDULE
DAY SHIFT
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Work Rotation: 4 days work, 3 days off
OR
3 days work, 4 days off
NIGHT SHIFT
Working Hours: 8:30 PM – 9:00 AM
Work Rotation: 4 days work, 3 days off
OR
3 days work, 4 days off
Candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts according to the company’s operational requirements, including both day and night shifts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining machines and equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production operations.
Main responsibilities include:
- Perform routine maintenance on production machines and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to the company’s maintenance schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections and checks on machine and equipment conditions.
- Identify the causes of machine breakdowns, abnormalities, and equipment issues.
- Perform troubleshooting for machine breakdowns and equipment problems.
- Carry out repair and corrective maintenance when required.
- Take appropriate corrective actions to restore machines to normal operating conditions.
- Ensure production machines operate efficiently, reliably, and safely.
- Help reduce machine downtime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Follow maintenance procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Monitor machine conditions and equipment performance.
- Report machine problems, abnormalities, and maintenance issues to supervisors or engineers.
- Assist with maintenance improvement activities when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area according to semiconductor manufacturing standards.
- Comply with all company safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
This position is intended for candidates with relevant working experience.
Main requirements:
- Experience in machine maintenance and machine repair.
- Experience in troubleshooting machines or equipment.
- Diploma qualification required.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Strong hands-on technical skills.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Able to follow maintenance schedules and work instructions.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
- Able to follow instructions from supervisors and engineers.
- Willing to wear a cleanroom suit during working hours.
- Willing to work rotating shifts.
- Willing to work both day and night shifts according to company requirements.
- Willing to learn and improve technical skills.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Candidates will attend an online interview to discuss their previous work experience, education, technical skills, maintenance experience, troubleshooting experience, and readiness to work in Singapore.
SECOND STAGE – OFFLINE INTERVIEW
Candidates who pass the first interview will proceed to an offline second interview.
During the second interview, candidates may be asked about their technical experience, types of machines or equipment previously handled, troubleshooting experience, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
