Position Details

Position: Manufacturing Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Contract Duration: One-Year Renewable Contract
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (5-Day Work Week)
Work Location: East Region, Singapore

Salary and Benefits

Successful candidates will receive an attractive compensation package, including:

  • Basic salary ranging from SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,600 per month
  • Monthly shift allowances that can reach SGD 500 to SGD 800

Working Schedule and Shift Options

Candidates may be assigned to one of the following working shifts:

Day Shift

  • Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Second Shift

  • Working Hours: 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM
  • Additional shift allowance: SGD 20 per working day

Third Shift

  • Working Hours: 11:30 PM to 9:00 AM
  • Additional shift allowance: SGD 40 per working day

Swing Shift

  • Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday
  • Rotating day and night schedules according to operational requirements

Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a professional manufacturing environment, including cleanroom facilities that require strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures. Employees will be provided with all necessary protective equipment, including cleanroom suits and safety gear.

Key Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for supporting manufacturing and production operations, including but not limited to the following duties:

  • Performing product assembly operations according to established manufacturing procedures
  • Conducting product testing and inspection activities
  • Handling production materials and components throughout the manufacturing process
  • Supporting machine assembly and equipment setup activities
  • Performing troubleshooting and basic technical support when required
  • Ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with company quality standards
  • Following standard operating procedures and workplace safety regulations
  • Operating manufacturing equipment and production machinery
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the cleanroom environment
  • Recording production activities and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Assisting production teams to achieve operational targets and production schedules
  • Handling physical tasks and material movement as required by operational needs
  • Working collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production personnel
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities and process optimization initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Minimum educational qualification of O-Level, A-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or above
  • Educational background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Semiconductor, or related technical disciplines is preferred
  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Technician, Production Technician, Semiconductor Technician, or related role is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and comply with strict operational standards
  • Ability to work rotating shifts when assigned
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual and physical tasks
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
  • Positive working attitude and willingness to learn
