Job Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms according to hospital standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Clean patient beds, bedside tables, chairs, windows, doors, and other furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness of hospital wards and treatment areas.
• Clean toilets, washrooms, and handwashing stations.
• Refill tissues, hand soap, sanitizers, paper towels, and other hygiene consumables.
• Replace rubbish bags and dispose of waste according to hospital procedures.
• Separate waste according to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained after every shift.
• Report maintenance issues such as damaged equipment, leaking pipes, faulty lights, or broken furniture.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and hospital hygiene regulations.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Ensure assigned work areas remain clean throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from hospital departments.
• Assist with housekeeping duties whenever required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain a professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Support the housekeeping team during busy periods.
• Ensure patient environments remain comfortable, clean, and welcoming.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Training will be beneficial for candidates willing to learn.
