OPERATOR / TECHNICIAN (FULL-TIME)
Location: Serangoon, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-Day Work Week)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: $1,800 – $3,200 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are currently seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our growing manufacturing team as an Operator / Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling precision electromechanical products, performing quality inspections, conducting functional testing, and ensuring that every product meets the company’s engineering and quality standards. Candidates with experience in precision assembly, electronics manufacturing, mechanical assembly, semiconductor production, automation equipment, or related industries are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
The Operator / Technician will be responsible for a wide range of manufacturing and assembly activities, including but not limited to:
• Assemble high-precision electromechanical products, motion systems, precision stages, and other mechanical assemblies according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform precision mechanical and electromechanical assembly while ensuring all components are correctly aligned, securely installed, and assembled according to quality standards.
• Read, understand, and accurately interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, assembly diagrams, schematics, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Operate various assembly equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque-controlled tools, microscopes, measuring gauges, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform accurate mechanical adjustments, alignments, calibrations, and fine-tuning of assembled products to achieve the required performance and specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive functional testing and operational verification of completed products to ensure all systems perform according to engineering requirements.
• Inspect completed assemblies for dimensional accuracy, workmanship quality, cosmetic appearance, and functional performance before releasing products for the next production stage.
• Identify assembly issues, component defects, dimensional deviations, or quality concerns during the manufacturing process and report findings promptly to supervisors or engineering personnel.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions where appropriate.
• Ensure all production activities comply with established quality standards, manufacturing procedures, engineering requirements, and customer specifications.
• Complete production documentation, assembly records, inspection reports, quality checklists, and related manufacturing paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work closely with engineers, quality assurance personnel, production supervisors, planners, and fellow technicians to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and workplace productivity.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, equipment, and production areas in accordance with 5S and good manufacturing practices.
• Support inventory control by reporting shortages, damaged materials, or equipment issues to the relevant departments.
• Assist in equipment setup, preventive maintenance activities, and machine preparation whenever required.
• Perform any additional production or technical duties assigned by supervisors or management as part of daily operational requirements.
Requirements
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
• Preferably 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in precision assembly, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, automation equipment, mechanical assembly, engineering production, or related industries.
• Candidates with experience in electromechanical assembly, precision manufacturing, or clean production environments will have an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics with accuracy.
• Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, torque tools, and other inspection equipment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, assembly procedures, and production workflows.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify problems during assembly and carry out basic troubleshooting when necessary.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a production team.

• Willingness to learn new manufacturing techniques, equipment, and production technologies.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
