Permanent Baker (Food Factory)

Position: Permanent Baker (Food Factory)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Mandai, Singapore (Nearest MRT: Kranji)
Monthly Salary: SGD 1,600 – SGD 1,800
Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Working Days: 5.5 Days Per Week
Rest Day: Every Sunday
Starting Date: Immediate

About the Role

As a Permanent Baker, you will be responsible for supporting the daily production of bakery products in a modern food manufacturing facility. You will work with commercial baking equipment and food processing machines to ensure products are prepared efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and safety.

The company supplies bakery products to hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, and other food service businesses. Every member of the production team plays an important role in ensuring customers receive fresh, high-quality products every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process dough according to company recipes, specifications, and production schedules.
• Operate dough mixers, dough processing equipment, baking machines, and deep-frying machines following standard operating procedures.
• Measure and prepare ingredients accurately before production begins.
• Monitor dough texture, consistency, and product quality throughout the production process.
• Ensure bakery products meet company quality standards before they are transferred for packing or delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, machinery, and production areas.
• Follow all food hygiene regulations, workplace safety procedures, and company policies.
• Assist with packing, labelling, and preparing finished products for distribution when required.
• Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or product quality problems to supervisors promptly.
• Work closely with supervisors and fellow production staff to achieve daily production targets.
• Support other production-related duties assigned by the company whenever necessary.

Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualities:

• Baking experience is preferred but is not a mandatory requirement.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply as full training will be provided.
