JUNIOR VETERINARY NURSE

Island Veterinary Clinic – Singapore

Salary: $1,800 – $2,200/month

ABOUT THE POSITION

Island Veterinary Clinic is hiring a caring and motivated Junior Veterinary Nurse to join its veterinary team. This position is suitable for candidates interested in developing a career in veterinary nursing. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential, as training and guidance will be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist veterinarians during consultations and procedures.
• Care for dogs, cats and small animals.
• Support hospitalised animal care and basic nursing duties.
• Prepare equipment, treatment areas and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Observe and report changes in animals’ condition.
• Support veterinarians and senior veterinary nurses.

REQUIREMENTS

• Genuine interest in animals and veterinary care.
• Caring, responsible and patient.
• Comfortable working with animals.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is an advantage.

Training will be provided to help candidates develop practical skills in animal handling, patient care and veterinary procedures.
