SINGAPORE JOB VACANCY – PUBLIC AREA CLEANER
Position: Public Area Cleaner
Location: Clarke Quay, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Monthly Salary: SGD 2,080–2,500 (Basic Salary) + Overtime Pay
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Schedule: 5–6 Days Work Week (Off Day Arranged by Manager)

Position Overview
The Public Area Cleaner is responsible for carrying out daily cleaning and maintenance duties in all assigned public areas. This includes ensuring that all common areas, public facilities, walkways, lobbies, restrooms, entrances, exits, and other designated locations are kept clean and well-maintained according to the company’s cleanliness and hygiene standards.
The successful candidate must be physically fit, attentive to detail, able to work independently, and committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform, but is not limited to, the following duties:
• Clean and maintain all assigned public areas according to company standards.
• Ensure all public toilets and restrooms remain clean, hygienic, fresh-smelling, and fully stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other essential supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections of restroom facilities throughout the working shift to maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies whenever necessary.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in public areas.
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard flooring using appropriate cleaning equipment and materials.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect walls, doors, windows, mirrors, tables, counters, handrails, lifts, escalator areas, and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Empty rubbish bins regularly and replace garbage bags to ensure cleanliness and proper waste disposal.
• Collect, separate, and dispose of waste according to company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Clean entrance areas, lobby spaces, corridors, waiting areas, staircases, and other common facilities.
• Remove stains, spills, litter, and debris immediately to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Handle cleaning equipment, machinery, and chemicals safely in accordance with workplace safety guidelines.
• Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained after use.
• Follow all workplace health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with additional cleaning duties during peak periods, special events, or as instructed by supervisors.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the management team.
Requirements
Applicants should possess the following qualities:
• No prior working experience is required.
• Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties for extended periods.

Working Environment
The successful candidate will work in public areas within commercial or mixed-use properties located in the Clarke Quay area. Duties may involve both indoor and outdoor cleaning depending on operational requirements.
The work environment is structured, professional, and focused on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Employees will receive proper guidance, training, and support from supervisors throughout their employment.
Working Hours
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Schedule: 5–6 Days Work Week
Rest days will be scheduled by the manager according to operational requirements.
Overtime may be required during weekends, public holidays, festive seasons, or periods of high operational demand. Overtime work will be compensated according to company policy.
