RETAIL ASSOCIATE (OPTICAL)
Location: Islandwide, Singapore (Outlet Assigned)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 5–6 Days Work Week (Retail Hours)
Working Hours
- Opening Shift: 10:45 AM – 7:45 PM
- Closing Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Subject to outlet operating hours)
Salary
Up to SGD $2,300 per month
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused, and motivated individuals to join our growing retail team as a Retail Associate (Optical). As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store. You will assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear products, maintain attractive product displays, support daily operational activities, and contribute to achieving the store’s sales and service goals.
Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training and will work alongside experienced team members in a professional and supportive retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable spectacle frames, lenses, and optical products.
- Provide accurate product information and explain the features and benefits of different eyewear options.
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Perform cashiering duties, process payments accurately, and issue receipts.
- Handle daily retail operations, including stock replenishment, stock transfers, stocktaking, and inventory management.
- Ensure all merchandise is displayed neatly and according to company merchandising standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, display shelves, and work areas.
- Achieve individual sales targets while supporting the overall performance of the store.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing professional after-sales support and product advice.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and basic service requests professionally.
- Assist with basic administrative duties, documentation, and daily operational reports.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and service standards.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, new product launches, and store activities whenever required.
- Support any additional duties assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent qualification.
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is preferred.
- Candidates without relevant experience but with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a friendly and professional personality.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
