Key Responsibilities

As a Fruit & Vegetable Packer, your daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

– Pack fresh fruits and vegetables according to company standards and customer requirements.
– Carefully inspect produce to ensure only fresh and high-quality products are packed.
– Sort fruits and vegetables based on size, quality, and condition.
– Remove damaged, spoiled, or unsuitable produce before packing.
– Weigh, label, and seal products accurately for customer orders.
– Prepare completed orders for delivery and distribution.
– Ensure packing materials are used correctly and efficiently.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area at all times.
– Follow food hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
– Assist with stock replenishment and inventory movement when required.
– Support receiving and organizing incoming produce deliveries.
– Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete daily packing targets.
– Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
– Perform general housekeeping duties within the warehouse and packing area.
– Carry out any other operational duties assigned by supervisors.
