Full-Time Service Crew (Ice Cream Shop)
Salary: SGD $2,500 – $2,800 per month
Work Schedule: 5.5 days per week
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Location: Hougang and multiple outlets
Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Full-Time Service Crew. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the ice cream shop. You will work closely with your team to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
As a Service Crew, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Operate the ice cream stall and ensure smooth daily operations throughout each shift.
– Prepare and serve ice cream, waffles, cones, sundaes, toppings, beverages, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
– Ensure all food products are prepared with consistent portion sizes and presentation.
– Deliver friendly, courteous, and professional customer service at all times.
– Welcome customers, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
– Handle customer orders accurately and efficiently during both peak and non-peak hours.
– Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, process cash, credit card, QR code, and other electronic payments accurately.
– Perform basic cashiering duties, including opening and closing cash procedures and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
– Ensure proper handling of cash and maintain accurate transaction records.
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the service counter, food preparation area, equipment, storage areas, dining area, and customer seating throughout the day.
– Wash and sanitize utensils, serving equipment, and food preparation tools in accordance with hygiene regulations.
– Replenish ice cream, toppings, cones, cups, packaging materials, napkins, and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
– Monitor product freshness and ensure all ingredients are stored according to food safety guidelines.
– Assist in stock receiving, inventory counting, stock rotation, and reporting low inventory levels to supervisors.
– Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) practices when handling inventory.
– Assist with opening duties, including equipment setup, product preparation, stock arrangement, and cleanliness inspection.
– Perform closing duties such as equipment shutdown, cleaning, stock checks, waste disposal, and preparation for the following business day.
– Learn to operate and maintain equipment including soft-serve machines, waffle makers, freezers, and other kitchen appliances. Comprehensive training will be provided.
– Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, workplace safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
– Support supervisors and team members with any additional operational tasks as assigned.
– Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive working environment.
Requirements
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
– Minimum ‘N’ Level or ‘O’ Level qualification.
– Previous experience in the Food & Beverage or retail industry is an advantage but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
– Friendly, positive, and customer-focused personality.
– Well-groomed, professional, and presentable appearance.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
– Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
– Responsible, punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
– Good time management and organizational skills.
– Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light physical duties.
– Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when operationally required.
– Ability to communicate in additional languages will be considered an added advantage to better serve a diverse customer base.
