Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: SGD $12/Hour
Overtime Pay: SGD $18/Hour
Public Holiday Pay: SGD $24/Hour
Successful candidates will enjoy competitive hourly pay together with opportunities to increase their earnings through overtime and Public Holiday shifts, subject to operational requirements.
Working Schedule
- 5 working days per week.
- Rostered schedule based on operational requirements.
- Required to commit on both weekends.
- 9-hour scheduled shifts, including meal breaks.
- Shift timings will be assigned according to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Souvenirs Retail Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant shopping experience during their visit to Changi Airport. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Welcome customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting souvenirs, gifts, and travel-related merchandise.
- Recommend suitable products according to customers’ needs and preferences.
- Explain product features and answer customer enquiries confidently.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.
- Perform gift wrapping for customer purchases with care and attention to detail.
- Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and visually appealing.
- Replenish stock on shelves whenever required.
- Monitor product availability and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.
- Assist in receiving and organizing incoming stock deliveries.
- Ensure shelves and displays remain neat, clean, and fully stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the retail store.
- Support promotional activities and seasonal campaigns.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily store operations.
- Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors whenever required.
