JOB DESCRIPTION

The Supermarket Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of the assigned supermarket areas.

The successful applicant will work as part of the cleaning team and ensure that the supermarket remains clean, comfortable, and presentable for customers and staff throughout the working day.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Floor Cleaning

• Sweep supermarket floors and designated areas.
• Mop floors regularly to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean supermarket hallways and common areas.
• Keep entrances and walkways clean and presentable.
• Remove dirt, dust, and other debris from assigned areas.
• Ensure floors are maintained according to the required cleanliness standards.
• Pay attention to high-traffic areas that require regular cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the assigned working area.

Bin and Waste Management

• Empty rubbish bins when required.
• Replace used or full bin bags.
• Collect rubbish from assigned areas.
• Keep bin areas clean and organised.
• Ensure waste is handled according to workplace procedures.
• Monitor rubbish bins and attend to them when they become full.
• Maintain a clean environment around waste collection areas.

GENERAL CLEANING DUTIES

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned supermarket areas.
• Follow the daily cleaning schedule provided by the supervisor.
• Complete cleaning tasks according to company requirements.
• Keep cleaning areas organised.
• Use cleaning equipment properly.
• Report any cleaning-related issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Work together with other cleaning staff to maintain overall cleanliness.
• Ensure assigned duties are completed before the end of the shift.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The position is based in supermarket environments where applicants will be working indoors.

The workplace is fully air-conditioned, providing a comfortable working environment while carrying out daily cleaning duties.

The job may involve standing, walking, sweeping, mopping, handling rubbish bins, and performing other general cleaning tasks during the working shift.

BUANGKOK
