About the Opportunity

FASTHIRE is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistants to support daily warehouse operations at Changi Airfreight Centre. This role is ideal for candidates with previous warehouse experience who are looking for flexible work arrangements and daily salary payouts.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for handling cargo and parcels in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.

This position offers flexible scheduling, making it suitable for individuals who are available to work evening or overnight shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays when required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Loading and unloading cargo, parcels, and shipments from containers, pallets, and delivery vehicles.
• Sorting incoming and outgoing shipments according to destination and operational requirements.
• Scanning parcels using handheld barcode scanners to ensure accurate shipment tracking.
• Moving goods safely within the warehouse using proper manual handling techniques.
• Checking cargo labels and ensuring shipments are correctly identified before dispatch.
• Assisting with packing, wrapping, palletizing, and preparing shipments for transportation.
• Performing basic quality checks to identify damaged or misplaced items.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and ensuring work areas remain safe and organized.
• Following all warehouse safety regulations, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Working effectively with supervisors and fellow warehouse staff to achieve daily operational targets.
• Reporting damaged goods, discrepancies, or operational issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Supporting other warehouse and logistics duties assigned by the operations team whenever required.

Working Schedule

Working days are flexible and may be scheduled from Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays, based on operational requirements.

Evening Shift

• 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
• 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Night Shift

Monday to Friday & Sunday

• 12:45 AM – 9:15 AM (1-hour unpaid break)

Saturday

• 12:45 AM – 9:45 AM (1-hour unpaid break)

Shift assignments are subject to operational requirements and manpower availability.

Salary

• Evening Shift: SGD $12.50 per hour
• Night Shift: SGD $13.50 per hour
• Daily payout upon completion of assigned work

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy loads throughout the shift.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly during working hours.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Able to work evening, overnight, weekends, and Public Holiday shifts when scheduled.
• Must wear safety shoes while on duty.
• Responsible, punctual, and committed to assigned work schedules.
• Able to follow operational procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• No criminal record.
